Here are some Frequently Asked Questions we get from our Loc Angels all the time.
How often should I get a retwist?
It depends.
- Starter Locs with loose textured hair - Every 3-4 weeks until you have budded.
- Starter Locs with coily hair -Every 5-6 weeks until you have budded.
- Budded/ Matured Locs - 6-8 weeks is a great sweet spot. And of course you could go longer, months even! Just remember to separate your locs periodically to prevent matting!
What products will help my hair grow?
Hair growth is all about routine and maintenance. We use a 1-2-3 approach.
Mist once a day, oil every two days, and use loc butter every three days.
